I've been in the RE brokerage business for 30+ years. I've been an agent, a Sales Manager, an Office Manager, Owner/Broker, Designated Broker-all things involved in owning, running and living real estate.Over the years I became a STAT guy, watching market trends and discussing company and agent performance, which leads me to why I'm at Opendoor. In early 2016, I began to notice and follow Opendoor's volume in my regional MLS. As 2017 began, the impressive growth I witnessed continued to improve and Opendoor expanded into additional markets. Now nationally everyone began to notice, report on, and copy Opendoor. There was even a name created to label the product. Opendoor was now an 'ibuyer' or Instant Buyer. As I dug deeper, I found that Opendoor's goals are to: eliminate the hassle, stress and risk involved in selling and buying homes; create liquidity for residential real estate; and empower the consumer with the freedom to move. Those are just a few of the reasons that Inman recognized Opendoor as the Most Innovative Company for the 3rd consecutive year and why I chose to jump on board. Instead of watching, I'm now part of helping Opendoor grow and expand.
