Focus on DevOps efforts for web development projects while also maintaining daily operational and maintenance tasks. As the DevOps lead, I worked with the necessary teams to successfully help migrate the live website to a new AWS architecture, using Salt Configuration Management and Cloud formation scripts to build the environments. Work heavily with Jenkins and Cloudbees to setup Continous Integration for various web development projects. Work diligently to automate several aspects of the O&M tasks to provide highly available systems.

Worked with several EC2 teams to help build and maintain an isolated EC2 region. Worked with security to adapt EC2 for a classified project. Promptly learned EC2 services and got a full perspective on the infrastructure and services behind Amazon EC2 regions.

Working with the Sentient program (Research and Development project in the Intelligenceand Information Systems Division) as a Systems Engineer to research, develop, and deploy acloud computing infrastructure that contains static and dynamic virtualization components.Have worked in person with government customers to integrate private cloud environmentsto support high performance mission applications. Gained experience working with alldifferent aspects of the project including but not limited to, system development,maintenance, deployment, network configuration, security, software integration, HPCstorage, requirements management, and testing.

Worked with the Modeling and Simulation branch to add features and enhance their ImageGenerator software. Gained C++ programming experience working with Open GL and ffmpeglibraries to add real-time video encoding and streaming.

Worked with the Modeling and Simulation branch to integrate new features and greatlyenhance a 3D Scenario Generation tool. Gained excellent experience in C++ programming andimproved my troubleshooting skills.
