I was born and raised in the Philippines, lived there most of my life. I studied Agribusiness Management at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. During my college years, I was also an exchange student in Oklahoma State University for a semester. I have been to more than 10 countries in the world. This May 2023, I will start my 2-year program in Business - Management and Entrepreneurship in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I have demonstrated history of working in small businesses and agri-related and food-related companies. My main role is to make sure that we provide the best quality product and services to our customers. Before the pandemic, I helped manage my sister's start-up businesses for two years and ensured proper process of all business functions (Finance, Marketing, Accounting, HR, Production). In the past year, I was part of the Sales and Operations Department (Supermarket - Meat) of our firm. I was mainly assigned to monitor deliveries and orders in my assigned area, collect stock and supplies inventories, regularly visit assigned stores to assure proper operations are done and good quality and complete product assortment is displayed, conduct price surveys, and monitor store manpower. At the end of the day, my job involves people. Customer service and engagement, and supervising as well as training people in the areas I am assigned to are what I do. I am proud that I am able to help those people who have been staying in their comfort zone to excel and be recognized. I love to help not only the company I work with but the people around me.
