Jared brings a passion for process to his work with some of the country’s most renowned brands, institutions, and broadcasters, including National Geographic, Science Channel, History, WGBH, Welch’s, Underwriters Laboratories, PTC, and Harvard Business School.He began his career producing 2D and 3D motion graphics that tackled complex scientific and historical subjects for broadcast documentaries. His work helped his team garner numerous awards, including two Cine Golden Eagle Awards for two episodes of the National Geographic series Naked Science in 2011. He also led the 2D animation and compositing for the Science Channel special Creating Synthetic Life, which was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award in 2010.Most recently, Jared built exciting schematic animations and explosive fire simulations for UL Xplorlabs, a modular online STEM education platform for high school students, which has earned a Gold OMMA Award and a Bronze Hatch Award. For Harvard Business School in 2016, he helped the team earn both a Webby Award and a Silver Hatch Award for The HBS Alumni Wilderness Survival Handbook, an outside-the-box approach to an alumni services landing page with a series of animated explainer videos to help engage the school’s recent graduates.When not in pursuit of his craft, Jared is a beer nerd with a passion for film, the outdoors, and getting there on foot.
