We design, build and renovate whole-body (room) respiration calorimeters. For free-living assessments we created PiLR EMA modular software that incorporates sensors and algorithms around mobile smartphones to assess energy expenditure, dietary intake, and physical activity. Our systems support interventions for pain management, medication adherence, smoking cessation, substance abuse, incident reporting, and pollutant exposure. All placed in related social / environment context (ecological momentary assessment). We also provide data management and technical support services through the PiLR Health system.
