• Managed a 50 person directorate responsible for policy, planning, and strategic communications.• Authored the policy submission to defend a key personnel program from a $1 billion cut. • Led the effort to reduce the headquarters by 25%, which eliminated a layer of management and increased the average span of control from 4 to 5.
