I am a recent graduate of NC State with a Bachelor of Science in Polymer and Color Chemistry. I enjoy the research and development environment of industry, where I was able to formulate adhesive systems as an intern at Parker LORD and where I am currently developing textile chemistry technology and providing technical service at Cotton Incorporated as a Laboratory Assistant. Previously, I was involved at NC State as an undergraduate researcher undergoing projects with photodynamic antimicrobial materials capable of inhibiting MRSA growth, novel biodegradable polymers coupled with photosensitizers, and antimicrobial solution-based studies of targeting Canine Staphylococcus Aureus. On NC State's campus, I enjoy being involved as a Mental Health Ambassador with Prevention Service where I participated and led events in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, along with serving the Goodnight Scholars Program as a Program Ambassador, Mentor, and Tutor to foster familiarity of the GSP community and NC State as a whole.
