As a current Biomedical Engineering student at the University of South Carolina, graduating in 2025 with a minor in Computer Science, I am passionate about applying engineering principles to solve real-world medical challenges. Throughout my time at UofSC, I have honed skills in CAD software such as Fusion 360 and Creo, alongside programming languages like Python, C++, and R for data modeling and analysis. One of the most valuable lessons I've gained is the importance of working with others, as nearly all my upper-level courses involved comprehensive collaborative projects.Outside the classroom, I enjoy working on personal projects involving 3D printing and electronics. With both an FDM and a resin printer, as well as various soldering and woodworking tools, I love bringing my ideas to life. I have three years of lab experience at the UofSC School of Medicine, contributing to four research publications on topics related to cardiovascular disease and laser therapy efficacy, which deepened my interest in R&D engineering.Additionally, I serve as the design lead for the Hands-On Prosthetic Engineering (HOPE) club, where I guide a team in designing and 3D printing prosthetic devices for children. My technical experience, combined with my passion for creating impactful projects, drives my ambition to work in a role that combines innovation with the potential to improve lives.
