Kyle Poe focuses his practice on applying data analytics and technology to innovate legal practice—particularly in the management of large, complex litigation in areas such as product liability, toxic tort, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.Kyle leads Morgan Lewis's cross-practice team of data analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals, dedicated to delivering internal and client-facing data-analytics solutions and services. Kyle collaborates with attorneys and firm leadership across multiple practice areas deploy custom-tailored data-driven solutions. These solutions assist clients in risk assessment, legal strategy optimization, and achieving cost-effective outcomes. Kyle oversees all aspects of data-analytics projects, including data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization. Kyle has pioneered the use of large language models (LLM) and artificial intelligence (AI) in complex litigation matters.Kyle is the creator of the Firm's proprietary Parallex legal-analytics and matter-management platform, which offers interactive dashboards combining substantive and financial data to inform settlement negotiations and client reporting. Using Parallex, Kyle coordinates MDL and national litigation across diverse portfolios, including 50,000+ claims in areas like toxic tort, medical device product liability, pharmaceutical product liability, antitrust, and employment litigation.Kyle manages budgets and financial performance for client fee arrangements and internal firm budgets, enhancing fiscal management through data analytics. He advises on new client engagement, fee structures, matter management, and staffing, utilizing data from historical financial and matter records.Collaborating with the General Counsel Office, Information Security, and Information Governance, Kyle ensures data security and privacy compliance and advances the Firm's cloud strategy. Kyle is also a founding member of the Firm's Knowledge Management Steering Committee.
