• Provide art and culture lesson plans and class presentations for schools in the Greater Philadelphia area

As the inaugural Partnership Manager, acted as Challenger Center’s primary expert on all ed-tech products (particularly Classroom Adventures digital program: botany, aquatic life, and paleontology). Researched markets, school districts, and K-12 schools to identify locations and entities for which the organization’s ed-tech products may be a strong fit and to foster the next generation of STEM leaders (and recorded these prospects via Salesforce’s CRM software). Additionally, presented and taught virtual space missions (Moon and Mars) and Classroom Adventures to K-12 students and acted as a program liaison for schools as part of grant-funding from Northrop Grumman and Blue Origin• Created an education cohort to distribute ed-tech products to underserved communities (worked primary with title 1 schools) andconnect teachers to STEM products. Provided point of contact/customer service for teachers that participated in this program (6-12teacher a season); educators participated from across the east coast• Partnered with our technology consultant to develop a new modality for educators to purchase ed-tech directly from theorganization’s website• Worked directly on marketing campaign for Classroom Adventures and wrote copy/edited materials, which included website copy,mailings, contracts, and advertising brochures; did copyright research• Identified a gap in lesson plans to accompany Classroom Adventures and created them, along with additional resources, to helpproduce sales of the product; redid all education surveys and conducted evaluation research for these programs to report to grantorsand board members• Collaborated with Minecraft Education and NASA to produce lessons around Minecraft’s Artemis World game and managedconsultants that contributed material for lessons; planned events with 40 space centers for its release

As part of the New Jersey Council of Humanities grant, created a civics literacy program to be used with students throughout the state.Participated in advisory meetings on best use of the collection in educating students on the mission of the Museum

Managed a team of 6 full-time employees and interns to support the volunteer-based, K-3 community literacy initiative for the City of Philadelphia (grant-funded). Rebranded, revamped, and presented volunteer trainings and worked with Mayor’s Office for new volunteer materials. Additionally,managed the application process, interviews, and background checks for volunteers• Developed and fostered new strategic volunteer partnerships with community non-profits, colleges & universities, the PhiladelphiaPolice Department, and businesses to support reading sites; in the first 3 months of employment, recruited over 300 volunteers toread one-on-one with students in recreation centers, public housing sites, community non-profits, libraries, and public schools• Introduced a new stream of potential volunteer resources my leveraging local museum volunteer pools and high school communityservice programs• Enhanced recruitment and retention 20% by introducing rebranded outreach efforts and changing the voice ofmarketing materials; presented marketing presentations to local businesses and non-profits that serve their direct communitiesand schools• Editor and chief of a new monthly volunteer newsletter that featured partner news and book recommendations; built and disseminatedcommunication via MailChimp• Collaborated with the director to collect data on volunteer's area of interest and correlated to available program to optimizemobilization of volunteers to designated communities in Philadelphia.

As part of the Leadership Team, managed a team of 4 employees and over 30 volunteers. Developed and taught all art, civics, and architecture programs on behalf of the New Jersey Legislature. Interpreted the historic State House and provided these programs for over 30,000 students and tourists a year and worked directly with Rutgers University on their State House Express program, which provides school grants for field trips. Additionally, managed the National Legislators Back to School Program sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures, which allowed Legislators to visit schools in their districts• Within the first 2 years, established new core programs, including first virtual classroom (in partnership with Thomas EdisonUniversity), a tour for blind and visually impaired guests, and new K- 3rd grade programming; worked with legislators to providesign language interpreters for tour guests• Developed and a managed a new 5-week volunteer trainings; performed evaluations and provided feedback on volunteer educationprograms• Developed the first professional development programs for volunteers and worked closely with local museums to shareeducation/volunteer resources• Worked with the Trenton School District to increase Trenton public school visitation to the State House; worked with 6 city schools• Spearheaded and developed the first State House Tour website and all social media plans for the Tour Program; worked with legislativegraphic designer to maintain social media calendar and designed social media posts

As an arboretum educator, delivered nature classes to students ages 5 – 12 years of age• Developed all new lesson plans and instructed the arboretum's weekend art and nature class (spring and fall seasons) for studentsaround themes that include recycling, native animals, public art, and the plant collection; classes also fostered outside play• Asked by arboretum to provided tours outside of the Growing Minds program

As part of the inaugural team, developed 7th and 8th grade programs around Ancient Egypt. These programs were connected to Philadelphia’s social studies curriculum (focus on underserved communities and title 1 schools). Titled Unpacking the Past, also taught in schools around Philadelphia as part of this program. Additionally, taught and assisted with virtual/distance learning classes for students outside ofPennsylvania, provided professional development opportunities/conducted adult tours, and served as the liaison for department to provide professional development opportunities for staff• Pilot year of 7th and 8th grade programming taught over 5,000 public school students• Developed and managed the first literacy program for the Museum titled Storytime Expeditions for young audiences (pilot summerhosted 200 children); developed and delivered all staff trainings for this program• Built the first children’s library for the Museum; books selected to match each gallery• Designed the first hands-on craft activities for Homeschool Days• Selected by communication team as main contact to provide tours for special guests

Managed and presented STEAM outreach classes in Philadelphia public and charter schools as part of the Art of Looking outreach program for 5th and 6th grade students and oversaw art and science supply budget. Monitored and provided feedback to docents during gallery tours and conducted tours of the art gallery• Successfully booked outreach classes and field trips for over 2,000 Philadelphia students; met the grantor’s (Verizon Foundation) goalfor students reached• Created all program evaluations for Art of Looking and 7th and 8th grade program; and recorded data for grantor• Spearheaded and coordinated first internship program with 12 undergraduate and graduate students
