Today my work is the mission of Sacred Streets: to create face-to-face portraits of our city's most vulnerable population. I do this to address the foundation of human health—our sense of identity. These portraits have a track record of turning lives in a new direction in just 30 minutes. Their lives hold stories that also change my audience—people who are more affluent, giving a glimpse of the restoration of all things and all people and instilling the hope that God's goodness is near and at work in our city today.For 12 years (2012-2024) I founded and directed Saddleback Church's Arts Ministry, launching hundreds of artists to live out their purpose. Leveraging a Master's in Global Leadership, my role encompassed pastoral responsibilities and a commitment to integrating the arts within the church and its neighboring areas. Our team's efforts engaged tens of thousands in meaningful cultural exchanges and volunteerism. The ministry is still thriving today.My expertise in fine arts and social services has been pivotal in orchestrating over 300 events, empowering a network of 500+ volunteers. The success of these initiatives has not only enriched local communities but also ignited an internationally attended conference, underscoring my dedication to creating and leading transformative experiences that resonate on a global scale.
