I was a student-athlete at Duke University in Durham, NC and was drafted 12th overall pick in the first-round of the 2011 WNBA draft. My genuine value of education and eagerness to learn led to outstanding academic success. My basketball success has been driven by competitiveness, hard-work, and a will to accomplish goals. I'm familiar with performing under pressure and that has strengthened my ability to handle adversity and meet deadlines.After basketball, I aspire to work in marketing, sports & entertainment, events or public relations. I want to use my off-seasons for corporate opportunities that will lead to a new career as I transition to life off the court.In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, baking, networking and social media.
