STATO is the study society for the MSc-track "Air Transport Operations", at the Aerospace Engineering faculty of Delft University of Technology. We are responsible for both educational and social activities for students and staff-members of the Air Transport Operations-department.

The Presidium is the advisory council for elite rowing at Proteus-Eretes. It is responsible for the policy for elite rowing, professional coaches and in general maintaining the highest possible level in rowing.My tasks include preparing and chairing assemblies. Next to this, I am the primary contact for rowers, coaches and board.

I was responsible for elite level rowing for the Delft University Boatclub with the task of managing around 60 athletes, 25 voluntary coaches, and 1 professional coach. My assignment during the internship was to forecast ATC tower developments and concepts for a medium term (coming 10 yrs). My research was based on literature and interviews I conducted. I also developed a proposal for tower classification based on airport characteristics. My deliverables included a report and several presentations for the company.

The objective of this evaluation committee is to improve level of education by performing critical evaluations and discussions with lecturers

The Rowing Talentcenter South-Holland was set up to develop major talents in the region of South-Holland. Each year around 30 talents are selected from 3 major boatclubs with the goal of bringing them to the national team within 3 years. As teammanager I was responsible for the organization of trials, trainingcamps, boattransportation and other logistical challenges. I have worked with headcoaches Ans Rom Colthoff (Olympic athlete ‘76) and John Parker (Olympic athlete ’92). I also functioned as the assistant of the board of the Talentcenter.

The PEiL-regatta, once a small luster activity, is the largest Dutch regatta for sub-elite rowing. The regatta accommodates 2000 people and it’s still growing. I was the public affairs officer for the 2010 and 2011 edition. My duties included promotion, acquisition and to act as the main host during the weekend.
