John Mcmenamin Email and Phone Number
About John: I started my trade as a Mechanical Apprentice working at an engine exchange and transmission shop before moving to the Department of Agriculture and working on a wide variety of machinery. I stayed at the Department of Agriculture for a short time after my apprenticeship until I moved to WesTrac, working on earth moving equipment, I continued to work in this field for 15 years and learnt lots about high quality workmanship and safety. The last 3 years at WesTrac was spent working for the WesTrac Institute (formerly Caterpillar Institute) and I was heavily involved in developing the training curriculum. I also delivered training to apprentices working on heavy mobile plant. After this I began working for Group Training organisations as an apprentice advisor. This allowed me to continue working with apprentices and Trainees, mentoring them to achieve a successful outcome and become good trades people. I have looked after a wide range of apprenticeships, traineeships and cadetships. I have experienced many different industries including manufacturing, mining, construction, aviation, maritime and business. I enjoy seeing an Apprentice or Trainee reach their full potential and begin the career they love while teaching them fundamental life skills such as respect, good workmanship and a work ethic to carry them wherever their career leads them. Skill set:Construction | Construction Management | Contract Negotiation | Mining | Project Planning | Strategic Planning | Mentoring | Youth Engagement | Traineeships | Apprenticeships | Recruitment | Training delivery | Training planning | Mechanical | Safety | Hospitality | Fabrication | Manufacturing | Cert IV WHS | TBOSIET | Fire Warden | Earthmoving | Incident Investigations | BusinessValues: Loyalty | Listening | Advising |Respect | Quality Workmanship | Good Work Ethics
