- Test compliance with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX404)- Identification of key financial processes and key risks and controls- Process map key functions- Testing of the Design Effectiveness of Controls - Testing the Operating Effectiveness of Controls - Co ordinate & complete Divisional BSAM(BSO)/Global Tax Management Return and Preparers Statement Processes for the Divisions and gain CFO sign off- Complete monthly balance sheet reviews for CFO- Identification of weaknesses in processes and development of alternative approaches- Provision of assistance and guidance on operational and finance matters- General Ledger & Hyperion Divisional Access Controller- Coordinate completion and sign off of Tax Transfer Pricing documentation and complete input to ANZ Tax return- Provision of analysis and commentary on the following o Half yearly P&Lo EOP Balance Sheeto Average Balance Sheeto Capital Adequacy (RWA)o APRA Balance Sheet

- Complete Hyperion financial packages for Property Group Australia (Trading Bank Australia (TBA)& various Subsidiaries)- Provide analysis of Global Property results for GM Property- Review Property New Zealand processes and recommend improvements- Ensure Property valuations were performed - Complete tax returns for Property Subsidiaries- Complete Statutory Accounts for Property Subsidiaries and attend AGMs- Complete BAS returns for Property

- Integration of ANZ New Zealand's General Ledger with ANZ Australia's General Ledger

- Identification of opportunities to standardise processes across all Australian Business units of ANZ;- Supporting and training ANZ Australian Finance personnel in meeting their reporting needs;- Identifying weaknesses in processes and develop alternative approaches; - Project Management.- Review ANZ Subsidiary Finance function and restructure/integrate into ANZ Finance

- Co-ordination of monthly, quarterly and half yearly reporting for the Australian Operations of the ANZ Group- Oversee the General Ledgers for ANZ Trading Bank and Subsidiary companies of the Australian operations- Complete half yearly and annual financial accounting packages for ANZ Trading Bank, and various other ANZ subsidiary companies - Formulate and distribute various reporting frequency balance instructions;- Complete Statutory Accounts for ANZ Trading Bank subsidiary companies;- Provide analysis during reporting cycles on results achieved (Geographic Australian basis);- Provide general accounting advice to finance staff within the Australian operations of ANZ.

- Monthly, quarterly and half yearly management reporting and analysis;- Formulation/co-ordination/consolidation and analysis of the Business Unit budget in liaison with Departmental heads- Review of accounting functions within Foreign Currency and AUD Interbank payments areas.

- Training of all staff within the department in reconciliation and accounting procedures on Foreign Currency Accounts

- Branch Accountant Melbourne- Customer Service- Co ordination of Branch activities;- Staff training- Marketing of the Group’s Services- Internal Checks

- Reconciliation of ANZ Group’s Foreign Currency Nostro Accounts
