Responsible for developing the next generation console by building tools for the design team to manage, share and track the design process▪ Utilizing React/Redux and Ant Design, I successfully built new/reusable components, features and implemented requests from stakeholders/designers▪ Utilizing Java 8, Spring and Spring Boot, I created APIs as per spec on the API layer and Service layer to handle CRUD operations for important design documents▪ Went through back-end code and made DB layer calls more efficient and faster by refactoring the codebase, as well as by utilizing Solar where possible to bypass unnecessary DB calls▪ On UI/React side, I implemented windowing/virtualization in a tree structure to prevent eager loading and rendering of components in order to provide our users with a faster and more efficient UX▪ On BOTH Backend and Front End, I assisted in the structure, architecture design and implementation a new feature which would revamp the previous tree structure into an IA (Information Architecture) based UX structure. Utilizing Oracle ADF 11g and 12c, I have added many new UI and back-end features and tools to our in-house software for utilization by our News Room Editors. These features and tools include tracking the flow of customer PR orders, tools to manage flow statuses for customer orders, and tools to add ability to track 3rd party tasks for PR translation, further editing, etc.I have successfully restructured our legacy Java code-base to utilize best practices, make it more abstract and reusable by implementing Design Patterns to ease management of the current code base, as well as to cut development time for future additions and implementations. Also added Unit Tests to the project’s services which were not previously implemented.
