• Supervising the activities of a team of eight; managing workload, allocating tasks according to deadlines.

• Prior to the Studio Supervisor role, I worked as a Page Planner. My responsibilities were as follows:
• Placing all adverts in the paper, ensuring the look and feel was consistent and attractive to the reader - whilst making sure all advertisers positional requirements were met.
• Keeping all newspapers to the required ratio of advertising and editorial content.
• Liaising with Editorial and Advertising departments to ensure they both had adequate space within each publication to meet story count requirements and budgeted revenues.
• Communicating with printers to keep them informed of paginations.
• Checking, proofreading and sending press-ready pages to the printers and being accountable for any errors in print.

Bracknell, Berkshire

My position involved collecting the young people from their homes, taking them to the club and coordinating activities. We also took the group on day trips during school holidays. The young people we worked with had parents with difficulties in caring for their families, and our group gave them an opportunity to relax, have fun and meet others in the same.
