I direct the Oklahoma City Community Foundation's Nonprofit Endowment program, granting in excess of eleven million dollars this year to central Oklahoma charities, only a part of OCCF's community support of more than $39 million annually, including community grants and donor advised funds. The program transcends the mere fiscal due diligence of granting, nurturing the 360+ endowed partner organizations as they seek to grow sustainable support for their missions. In addition to one-on-one consultations and strategy sessions, we strive to create a community of practice for development professionals engaging in endowment growth. Through more than 20 skills-enriching workshops throughout the year, support is focused on deeper understanding of the endowment model, cultivation of creative giving opportunities, technical assistance, and developing intentional growth strategies for endowed agency funds. In fiscal year 2022, this collection of endowments took in contributions of more than $23 million and granted out, in annual 5% distributions, more than $11 million.
