I'm currently a Nuclear Mechanical Operator and qualified Lead Engineering Laboratory Technician in the United States Naval Submarine Force. While in the Navy, I've engaged in two years of strenuous training that has provided me with unparalleled mental, physical, and emotional strength.While in the Navy, I developed a technical and intuitive troubleshooting ability on analytical equipment. I am trained to work closely with approved procedures, blueprints, and engineering drawings that provide technical assistance when performing maintenance on both the reactor and steam plant systems.I'm a self motivated individual who's equipped with immeasurable empathy, exceptional leadership skills, and an ability to inspire those around me. I believe in technicality, attention to detail, and exceptional communication amongst team members. All these attributes influenced me during my search for a role in leadership. While traversing the ranks of the Navy I've learned how to operate as a team player while remaining strategic, efficient, and well organized.I plan to find work in the radiological health industry and attend college to earn a mechanical engineering degree. My goal is to qualify for a senior position in the engineering field, and use my current and ongoing qualification to better my future opportunities.
