I am an Instructor at the Rutgers University Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research Center for Health Services Research, and the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. My research focuses on building effective systems strategies for improving access to evidence-based treatment and recovery supports for individuals with substance use disorder. Most recently my work examines the use of medication to treat opioid use disorder among NJ Medicaid beneficiaries with opioid use disorder who use residential treatment, and racial and ethnic disparities in use of medication for opioid use disorder among publicly insured adults. I am also a recent career development awardee from the National Institute for Drug Abuse (K99DA057372) to study national Medicaid policy regarding access to medication for opioid use disorder in all 37 states with an IMD waiver.

Training research assistants in experimental procedure, data collection, data analysis, coordinating subject participation, running experiment, equipment troubleshooting. Research looks at the role of Virtual Reality in learning and memory processes. Specific possible applications might be development of training programs, as well as development of clinical treatment programs.
