Architectural design for the creation of corporate financial, inventory and merchandising reports. High volume ETL framework (SSIS) including parent/child relationships, variable and expression management, custom event logging, and package management with the SSIS API. Construction of data mart, relational and multi-dimensional modeling, analysis cubes, and extensive MDX expressions/queries. Additional responsibilities: T-SQL and MDX performance tuning, staff mentoring, documentation and best practices. Platform: SQL 2005 / SQL 2008, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.

Primary deliverables: Development of ‘business performance monitoring’ through the creation of corporate dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and standard SSRS reports. Architectural responsibility for data warehouse, analysis cubes, reports, and ETL processes. Highly proficient in relational and dimensional modeling, as well as BI architectures. Platform: SQL 2005, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS, and Business Scorecard Manager.

Primary deliverables: Database migration of corporate applications to SQL 2005. Requirements include ETL tasks, performance tuning, best practices, and mentoring other developers. Also responsible for training on SQL 2005 and components including Reporting Services and Analysis Services.

Management of corporate data assets, strategic design of data models (relational / data warehouse / business intelligence). Responsible for database performance tuning (primarily iSqFt.com), SQL Server best practices, analytics, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. Accomplishments: Designed and deployed corporate business intelligence initiative, piloted SQL 2005 migration (including components for SSAS and SSIS). Dramatically improved database performance using state of the art tools to pinpoint and resolve database issues at the stored procedure level. Consultant for IT matters relating to the Iraqi Property Claims Commission: www.ipcciraq.org . Responsible for program management, project coordination, and IT consulting with the IPCC as well as other international partners. Also provided SQL 2000 database training for Iraqi nationals on implementation of a property claims system. Developed a reporting and analysis system for data collected by the Iraqi Property Claims Commission. Platform: SQL 2000, Analysis Services, Reporting Services.

Team Lead for the performance tuning of the RGS Suite of applications www.reyrey.com . Developed complete performance tracking and monitoring system includes log processing (SQL Trace, IIS Logs, and Perfmon Counters) into data warehouse, building of Multi-dimensional cubes, establishment of desired performance metrics, and data analysis using a variety of OLAP client programs using custom MDX queries.
