Jiten Mistry is a Manager | Data and Analytics at West Monroe. Colleagues describe them as "I managed Jiten's data visualization project for SMU's Master of Science in Business Analytics. The project dealt with Texas and Houston's standardized test scores for 2019 and 2021. It involved cleaning the test score dataset in Alteryx and then visualizing the data using Tableau. The goals were threefold: be creative with visualizations, tell stories with the data, and propose ways to move forward. Jiten exceeded expectations for all three goals. His visualizations showed us new ways of displaying test score data for stakeholders, in particular using a box-and-whisker plot to show distribution of test scores throughout a school district. His insights from the visualizations allowed us to pinpoint areas of focus to follow-up on later. Finally, he proposed several recommendations that aligned with Commit's goals. Overall, this was a great value-add for Commit, and we appreciate him and his team's effort on it. "
