Ms. Renner is an active board member and advisor. Her business leadership experience spans consumer products and scientific products industries in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Ms. Renner retired from her role as President of C.F. Martin & Co. in October 2021. C. F. Martin & Co., a 189-year-old privately held company, is an iconic global brand in the acoustic guitar industry. Martin guitars have been played by influential artists including Joan Baez and Eric Clapton.Prior to joining C.F. Martin & Co., Ms. Renner served as president of several other privately held companies including Franke Consumer Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Franke AG, Ecowater Systems LLC, and Wells Lamont Corporation, both Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway portfolio companies.Ms. Renner currently serves on the Northeast Pennsylvania Advisory Board of PNC Bank. Since 2006, she has served on the board of Cultural Vistas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to helping leaders address complex challenges and connecting lives to exchange knowledge, values, and ideas, on a global scale. In 2019, she joined the Board of Valley Youth House, a social services organization that supports at-risk youth in Pennsylvania. Ms. Renner holds an MBA from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a patented chemist. She was a recipient of the Robert Bosch Fellowship in Germany.
