Provide technical hardware and software support for network WAN infrastructure including field offices. Principal responsibility for VMware administration, web filtering, SSL connectivity, and maintaining helpdesk systems. Provide support for servers, data backups and SAN support. Coordinate and install network server equipment and software, and handle special projects and requests. Coordinate and provide technical support to other network staff and remote facility MIS staff. Monitor, update, and ensure the operation of servers and network equipment.

Work to develop, improve, maintain, and implement network. Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain telecommunications equipment. Provide reports, complete requests for new service, determine methodology for installing phone service, determine appropriateness of equipment changes or modifications, call switches, test trunks, test links and implmenent new communication circuits. Assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripherals and software. Work with network staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from end users. Recommend and/or perform upgrades. Maintain Active Directory records. Manage Exchange and Blackberry servers. Perform basic switch and router configuration.
