Management Analyst (Regional Administrator)
Current• Plans and advises on implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches of substantial scope, difficulty, and complexity in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives.• Responsible for coordinating the Immunization Healthcare Division's South Atlantic Region Vaccine Safety Hub administrative/clinical and research budgets for submission and approval; includes travel coordination for conferences, presentations and educational courses.• Recommend adjustments to policies, programs, projects and studies to resolve problem and to improve operations and efficiencies within the SARVSH. • Perform as senior troubleshooter, resolving unusually complex problems; e.g., recommending solutions to problems or situations for which the cause of unknown or is spectacular or conceptual in nature, requiring extensive research and analysis of facts or trends indicated by morale or production problems. • Represents the Regional Medical Director at meetings, conferences, and/or seminars; responsible for recommending solutions or speaking on behalf of the SARVSH staff in resolving issues which impact the Regional office or higher echelons.• Determines the kind of information or data needed to measure effectiveness of program progress; prepares and makes oral and written presentations to clearly show indicators of program performance; and provides detailed recommendation for achieving mission objectives in an effective and efficient manner• Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative and is familiar with COR responsibilities and procedures to ensure the SARVSH complies with contracting regulations and that said contracts are being executed as expected by the government.• Coordinates and facilitates repairs, renovation/recondition, or replacement of facilities.• Conducts management surveys and research projects and provides advisory services throughout the organization
