At Vela, I serve to be a connection point for professionals in the field of domestic violence and sexual assault by introducing them to our helpful software solution that supports their work. I live out my values of authenticity, empathy, gratitude and supportiveness through my communication with prospects as we aim to uncover their needs and plan the transition. Vela is an effective solution for the struggles people face when meeting the demands of this critical work. We know because it was developed by advocates and in conjunction with other industry experts. I came on board in 2023 with Element 74/VELA to partner with programs ready to better manage their resources and meet their goals of efficient and effective client management and reporting. My past careers as a finance and real estate professional have me well groomed for this type of professional experience as both arenas serve to help people navigate through trying times. As a volunteer for the last several years, I have served as a spokesperson for the Vintage Now Fashion Show that benefits the Safe House of Southeast Missouri. Through our group and community efforts, a state of the art shelter was built to serve survivors in our multi-county service region and continues to be the largest source of fundraising for our local program. I am thrilled that passion, purpose and productivity have intersected with Vela.
