Support nearly 900 individuals (students, faculty and non-teaching staff) in a mixed PC environment at a K-12 Catholic private school, split across two locations in Newark, NJ. Primary responsibility is tech supportRESPONSIBILITIES:• Repair, monitor and maintain >400 Windows, Mac and Chrome OS computers used on-site by the school’s faculty, students and other staff in a Google Workspace environment• Assist department with Level 1 - 2 support that includes: reporting on server infrastructure, repairing client workstation hardware and software, troubleshooting networking issues, managing and distributing tech inventory, setting up A/V equipment for conferences, managing domain accounts, and troubleshooting POTS and VoIP phone systemAccomplishments:2018: Successfully migrated over 80 Windows 7 PCs to Win102019: Successfully cloned and installed SSDs on nearly a hundred laptops and desktops around the school2019: Repurposed an old server blade into a node for the World Community Grid research project2020: Briefly administered a small private server for Assetto Corsa - a racing simulator - running on Microsoft Azure2021: Began and coordinate a Python programming curriculum for high school-level students. Continue to do so2023: Designed a unique color-coded system to help elementary level teachers keep track of Chromebook distribution2024: Wrote three Powershell scripts to manage Active Directory accounts in bulk2024: Established a new image creation process that reduced PC deployment time dramatically
