    While at Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Department of Student Transportation Services I supported the delivery of safe, accessible, efficient transportation to over 21k students.As a senior member of a routing team of 9, my regular duties included:- operations management including research and implementation large-scale school reroutes;- collaborating and problem solving with vendors, schools, and central office staff to implement service improvements, adjusted route structures, and meet contractual obligations;- collaboration with schools and other CPS departments to meet the needs of diverse learners and students with special needs on the school bus;- interview, training, and onboarding of new routing staff.Throughout my tenure, I had the opportunity to tackle new and challenging projects including a financial analysis of shifting school bell times to improve fleet utilization rates and reduce transportation costs. I also collaborated in the creation and implementation of new reporting systems and optimization tools. My successes led to a senior position and promotion managing the entire non-public and charter school network, constituting 25% of schools receiving service and 17% of total district runs.
