By separating deployment from release with LaunchDarkly's industry leading Feature Management platform, teams can gain more control over their products.I helped LaunchDarkly grow from under $10m in revenue to well over $100m, and I grew the product delivery team from 15 engineers to nearly 200. We served nearly 40 trillion feature flags every day to over 5,000 customers around the world.

We designed, built and launched Stride, the a complete team communication solutions. Combining brilliant messaging, one-click video calling and lightweight collaboration tools, Stride redefines the way teams move work forward, together.* Pivoted the majority of the HipChat team in a month to focus on a new product, redesigned both visually and technically.* Launched Stride to the world in the Fall of 2017 and set the course for further development.* At launch, Stride beat targets for acquisition and retention, significantly improving on previous.* Stride significantly increased customer NPS over previous scores.* Building on what we learned from HipChat, Stride is designed and proven to scale for very large usage and very large customers.

I lead product for HipChat, hosted group chat and IM for companies and teams. After joining the team in 2014 when it was only 15 people, we were able to significantly grow the product, the business and the team. * We increased HipChat daily active users by ~300%. * Introduced a new freemium model for HipChat, leading to an inflection of user growth.* We developed and introduced HipChat Server, a self-hosted version of HipChat, which added significant revenue.* We opened a new development site in Austin, TX and scaled the team by almost 10x.* I hired and led a team of six product mangers.

Designed, created and launched the Atlassian Marketplace, where third-party developers sell add-ons for the Atlassian platform. The Atlassian Marketplace has now (in 2021) surpassed $2 billion dollars in revenue.* Grew from zero revenue to ~$10mm MRR in the first 18 months.* Launched with 60 add-ons in inventory and grew to over 300 in the first 18 months.* Paid over $20 million to third-party developers in that time.* Hired and led team of 20 devs responsible for Marketplace, Platform, and Developer Evangelism.* By 2024, the Atlassian Marketplace had done more than $3 billion in revenue.

Asked to hire and lead the Bitbucket engineering after their acquisition by Atlassian. Over six million developers (as of 2017) now depend on Bitbucket to host their critical repositories.* Grew Bitbucket from 50,000 to over one million users, and from zero revenue to [ask me] in MRR. * Led the engineering team to scale to [ask me] daily-active-users and set plan for further growth. * Instituted agile development and rapid deployment process for the team.* Projected costs and revenue to guide future investment.* Modeled user acquisition funnel, tracked conversion and optimized on-boarding.* Identified and tracked Bitbucket-to-Atlassian upsell value.* Rebuilt the homepage (during a ShipIt Day) resulting in a 15% increase in conversion.

* Designed and led all evangelism efforts for Atlassian’s development platform. * Set ecosystem roadmap based on input from active developer community.* Planned and executed Atlassian’s annual developer camp and coding competition. * Grew the library of add-ons from single digits to well over 1,000—free and commercial.
