• Utilize Teradata in tandem with HealthConnect (EPIC) to create patient demographic reports and track efficiency of current Inpatient and Ambulatory workflows. • Test and maintain data integrity across multiple databases and systems (Teradata, SQL Server, internal SAS, DB2, VSAM; external: SAS parsing routines, Excel, COBOL).• Define and frame complex multi-dimensional healthcare issues to develop time-frames and processing needs required for decisions made by upper levels of management.• Convey results using Tableau Dashboards when appropriate. • Build statistical models and forecasting tools using Kaiser Permanente data sources and internal resources. • Function as both Data Consultant and High-Level Programmer capable of translating technical terms to a non-technical yet healthcare heavy audience and vice versa. • Provide data input in the development of outcomes and process measures, including technical specifications, to enable population measurement, guideline implementation, and evaluation.• Analyze and interpret data across of numerous large databases to find trends and actionable areas for improvement in both Inpatient and Ambulatory settings. • Develop creative alternative solutions to ingrained methodologies. • Communicate results/recommendations to project sponsors, clients, and various senior level audiences including physicians for The Permanente Medical Group departments.
