Career Manager responsible for the long-term people management and development of other consultants.Boots Healthcare International (15 months) Worked predominantly on situation assessment and change planning phases of a project seeking to lay the foundations for a more efficient and effective people management process by implementing simple, consistent HR processes and systems utilising the SAP HR solution as the global HRMS. Worked to prepare the business case, which encompassed business benefits, costings, project dependencies and key performance indicators.Subsequently, led the Solution Design phase of this project through a series of key workshops addressing process and systems design. Obtained pertinent details and translated this into workable and effective business solutions. Delivered a more detailed systems design using the SAP Best Practice HR Solution as a basis.Diageo (14 months)Managed the evaluation and selection of a 3rd party Travel and Entertainment (Expenses) software package for the T&E global shared services solution. Then undertook a Project Management role to deliver the required back office functionality for the payment of employee expenses via SAP. In July 2002, the solution was successfully implemented across two major markets (UK and Ireland) with transactional processing and data maintenance provided by the Budapest shared service centre.

Guinness (16 months)Lead HR consultant on a project to upgrade SAP 31h HR system to version 4.6c. Rolled out SAP to a second European country with over 2,000 employees. Full project lifecycle from a feasibility study and initial project planning, utilising the ASAP methodology, through to go-live and warranty support. In addition to the system build work, I assisted the business community in designing and documenting their processes.As part of a continuous improvement project, implemented absence and training record solutions as enhancements to an existing UK SAP HR system. Designed and delivered a program of training courses to 50 end users. Chep (3 months)Solution design for the implementation of the SAP cross-application time sheet designed to capture employee’s attendance and absence across 12 UK and Irish depots. Hitachi (6 months)Implemented functionality to record and report on data for a complex, composite bonus scheme, across twelve European Countries for 800 European employees.British Aerospace (11 months)Technical Team Leader - led a team of ABAP developers managing the diverse workload generated, in order to meet tight deadlines. Worked on a number of SAP modules: HR, Materials Management, Quality Management and Finance.
