I am responsible for the whole business of the brand. A large part of my role is forecasting and budgeting for the whole a+a business. I managed a team of 4 in this role. Responsibilities: * Heading up and working alongside my team on development of design concepts, fabric selections, cost analysis right through to delivery of stock on the floor for each customer.* Liaise with Key customers and their teams to ensure streamlined product to market.* Daily communications and negotiations on costs/deliveries with our China and Bangladesh factories.Achievements:* Launched new business with a capsule high fashion Barbie Girls range and Thomas the Tank Engine Infants ranges. Developed and launched a Girls Thomas TTE range which for the first time it had been introduced into the Australian Market. All these ranges were on show in Myer Emporium and selected pieces in the Emporium magazine.* In collaboration with The Australian Ballet and the Walt Disney Company, developed a high-end fashion range for David Jones which was selected and sold in. Our team was awarded by Disney Integrated Award at the Mousecar Awards.

My accounts were Licensed Children’s and Menswear for Target and Infants, Children’s, Men’s and Womenswear for Kmart. The account at its peak was substantially high. I managed a team of seven employees. Responsibilities: * Heading up and working alongside my team on development of design concepts, fabric selections, cost analysis right through to delivery of stock on the floor for each customer.* Working closely with key Licensing companies including Disney, LEGO, Mattel and Warner Bros to ensure we were balancing the creative and commercial requirements for each property whilst being relevant and always on trend.* Liaise with Key customers and their teams to ensure streamlined product to market.* Daily communications and negotiations on costs/deliveries with our China and Bangladesh factories.* Traveled globally up to three times a year on Buying trips. Following on from there I would go to China for meetings and visit our factories to see current season production runs and do costing negotiations and print approvals.Achievements:* Obtained huge growth with the LEGO account in Boys apparel. I attended two LEGO conferences with LEGO in Denmark with was very beneficial and rewarding.* Launched new business into Kmart which generated good growth over various categories as per above. * Secured new business with the Boys Piping Hot business in Target.* Grew new business for the Fila account – developing and manufacturing Children’s apparel into Fila stores and Rebel.* Launched capsule Fashion ranges for Teen Girls for One Direction. Working closely with their UK office, I developed and manufactured Apparel, headwear and accessories which was sold in globally to 32 countries which commenced in NYC with worldwide media coverage of the launch.* Introduced new business with the Cancer Council of Australia on Infants, Kids, Men’s & Woman’s Swimwear ranges for their stores Australia wide.
