I am the Apparel Director and overseeing multiple accounts. Apparel categories range from Babywear, Kidswear, Teen, Menswear, Womenswear as well as Plus size Adults.

I am the Brand Manager for New York brand Aden + Anais for Australia and New Zealand. I am responsible for the whole business of the brand. A large part of my role is forecasting and budgeting for the whole a+a business. I also look after the Account Management to major retailers (Myer, Baby Bunting) as well as independent customers of where there is 450 in Australia/NZ (frequent contact with the top 30) and online customers. Roger Armstrong is the official distributor for Aden+Anais in AU/NZ.Managing and growing accounts based off forecasting and ordering stock through the USA/China office. Daily communication and conference calls with the USA/UK offices of A+A. As Brand Manager I manage all lines, run the social media/marketing of the brand, range selection and coordination seasonally to fit what is right for the AU/NZ market. Costings, Sales reports, raise PO’s for China, liaise and provide sell thru for Online retailers (which includes The Iconic, EBAY, Ozsale, COTD). Range planograms, design our seasonal catalogue and do all administration. Also organise expo’s for retail KIDS IN STYLE , One Fine Baby seasonally. These are both Consumer and Retails shows.

Role: As part of the Senior Management team, I am responsible for commercial decisions and new product development in order to achieve and meet the FY budget. Responsibilities :* Managing and development growth of accounts in Infants, Children’s, Men’s and Womenswear for retailers: Coles, Target, B&L, Harris Scarfe, Myer and David Jones. In NZ, Farmers, TWH & Woolworths. Overall, I am liaising with 19 Buyers for these accounts.* Working together with my Planner on the yearly Budget and monthly forecasts.* Improvement of Brand strategies to maximize incremental sales and key deliveries. Achievements:* Secured new accounts (Harris Scarfe, Target, David Jones) resulting in incremental forecast revenue of for FY18. * Increased overall sell in of Coles seasonal SRT/PDU programs by 30%.

Role: As Account Manager, I undertook a holistic role that involved collaboration with the design team and manage accounts for Infants and Children’s Licensed apparel and sleepwear ranges for Myer, Target and Kmart. I managed a team of 4 in this role. Responsibilities: * Heading up and working alongside my team on development of design concepts, fabric selections, cost analysis right through to delivery of stock on the floor for each customer.* Liaise with Key customers and their teams to ensure streamlined product to market.* Daily communications and negotiations on costs/deliveries with our China and Bangladesh factories.Achievements:* Launched new business with a capsule high fashion Barbie Girls range and Thomas the Tank Engine Infants ranges. Developed and launched a Girls Thomas TTE range which for the first time it had been introduced into the Australian Market. All these ranges were on show in Myer Emporium and selected pieces in the Emporium magazine.* In collaboration with The Australian Ballet and the Walt Disney Company, developed a high-end fashion range for David Jones which was selected and sold in. Our team was awarded by Disney Integrated Award at the Mousecar Awards.

Role: My role was the complete business Manager for DDS accounts. My accounts were Licensed Children’s and Menswear for Target and Infants, Children’s, Men’s and Womenswear for Kmart. The account at its peak was substantially high. I managed a team of seven employees. Responsibilities: * Heading up and working alongside my team on development of design concepts, fabric selections, cost analysis right through to delivery of stock on the floor for each customer.* Working closely with key Licensing companies including Disney, LEGO, Mattel and Warner Bros to ensure we were balancing the creative and commercial requirements for each property whilst being relevant and always on trend.* Liaise with Key customers and their teams to ensure streamlined product to market.* Daily communications and negotiations on costs/deliveries with our China and Bangladesh factories.* Traveled globally up to three times a year on Buying trips. Following on from there I would go to China for meetings and visit our factories to see current season production runs and do costing negotiations and print approvals.Achievements:* Obtained huge growth with the LEGO account in Boys apparel. I attended two LEGO conferences with LEGO in Denmark with was very beneficial and rewarding.* Launched new business into Kmart which generated good growth over various categories as per above. * Secured new business with the Boys Piping Hot business in Target.* Grew new business for the Fila account – developing and manufacturing Children’s apparel into Fila stores and Rebel.* Launched capsule Fashion ranges for Teen Girls for One Direction. Working closely with their UK office, I developed and manufactured Apparel, headwear and accessories which was sold in globally to 32 countries which commenced in NYC with worldwide media coverage of the launch.* Introduced new business with the Cancer Council of Australia on Infants, Kids, Men’s & Woman’s Swimwear ranges for their stores Australia wide.

Role: My role was developing CAD designs for DDS customers in Children’s Licensed and Generic Sleepwear and Underwear. Responsibilities: * Developing CAD initial designs, preparing artwork for tech packs for China factories, approving lab dips, strike offs, Pre-Production and shipment samples.* Attended Sales Meetings with Buyers with the GM. It was from here that my desire to get into Product Development and sales developed.Achievements:* Designing core ranges that were commercial for the relevant retailers.

Role: My role was as a Designer for Children’s Sleepwear/Underwork/Socks for DDS and Department store majors.Responsibilities:• Doing international and local market research. Developing mood boards.• Developing CAD initial designs, preparing artwork for tech packs for China factories, approving yarn lab dips, initial fit samples, Pre-Production and shipment samples.Achievements:* Secured the SOCOG Account after an initial pitch for the business. This was for underwear and socks for all retailers. I worked on this for three years prior and was invited to go to the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games.socks for all retailers.

Worked in retail. Lived in London & travelled extensively through Europe.

Role: My role was as a Junior Designer for Womenswear and Menswear for Department stores.Responsibilities: • Doing international and local market research. Developing mood boards.• Matching paint to yarn colours, doing trade sketches, painting designs based of overseas samples.• Developing range books for domestic agents and organising salesman samples.• Ordering fabric from international suppliers.Achievements:* I was lucky enough to spent 2 weeks in our Hong Kong office working with the Head Designer on new range development.
