• Active involvement in project planning, documentation and delivery of tasks associated with the implementation and ongoing support of Cerner FirstNet; • Project manage projects as requested in the context of facilitating the progression of the projects to support the service delivery of clinical and corporate units in SWAHS• Facilitate the change control process and issues tracking process from identification to resolution to support project tasks• Facilitate / support the successful implementation and the maximisation of benefits and advise management of any risks to benefits• Development of documentation to support the build of FirstNet• Assist in the customisation of the FirstNet application to meet identified user requirements• Explore and make recommendations to further benefit the implementation of FirstNet• Foster and maintain networks with key stakeholders within the Emergency Departments and other key identified SWAHS personal and parties external to the organisation• Continued Level 2 support and maintenance of FirstNet application for SWAHS both within business hours and after hours

• Lead and manage the successful rollout of ObstetriX and OTIS (upgrades) applications across the NSCCH• Develop project plan for rollout during 2006 and manage expectations• Identify and engage all stakeholders who will be affected by the implementation and to communicate to all stakeholders within NSCCH and specifically the facility the project(s) status by gaining consensus and buy in amongst clinical and non clinical staff on the implementation• Identify post implementation benchmarks studies • Understand the functionality of the software and capture accurately the impact of that on work flow practice • Ensure that the Project Office continues high quality implementation for NSCCH• Ensure that all users are trained in the utilisation of the application and all change management issues are addressed• Identification of users system, functional and information requirements and ability to document these in a form that is understandable for user and technical staff

• System Administration and Management of Information System for Oral Health (ISOH) application, working together with Oral Health Branch, Information Services Department and all area dental staff.• Coordinate the implementation and smooth running of the Call Centre in the Northern Sydney Health Area Dental Services and facilitate associated work practice change.• Management of call centre staff including recruitment, leave, rostering and personnel issues.• Collation of monthly, quarterly and year to date statistics for the Oral Health Branch and Northern Sydney Health Area Executive, including DoHRS (Department of Health Reporting System), NAPOOS (Non Admitted Occassion of Service) and KPI’s.• Ensuring correct processing of the Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme and the Pensioner Denture Scheme, with private dentists: in this function work with the Area admin officer and assist the Network Director in managing financial monitoring and reporting.
