Duchenne UK has one clear aim – to end Duchenne, a devastating muscle-wasting disease. We are the largest funder of Duchenne research in the UK. We connect leading researchers with industry, the NHS and families to challenge every stage of drug development to make the incurable, curable. Together, we will find treatments and cures for this generation of patients with Duchenne.

In 2018, I made the decision to challenge myself and utilise my experience with a range of organisations in need of specialist support. Over this time, I worked with Dallaglio RugbyWorks and Duchenne UK on long term marketing contracts and completed a consultancy piece for Super League Triathlon.I was then given the opportunity to join the team full time at Duchenne UK - a decision which was the easiest I've ever had to make.

At Dallaglio RugbyWorks I led an ambitious and growing team responsible for all commercial activity and income generation for Dallaglio RugbyWorks' national programme. - Budget management - Creation and implementation of fundraising and marketing strategies- Design and delivery of a high-end events portfolio with gross income of £2m- Management of new business pipeline, creation of proposals and delivery of pitches - Responsibility for servicing and maximising varied partnership portfolio - Brand management and delivery of all marketing and PR activity - Stakeholder management working closely with the Board and key UHNW supporters and donors- Management of multiple agencies and in-kind partners

Marketing, Events, Sponsorship- Account management and Sponsor servicing of LTA Sponsors, LTA Marketing Partners and ATP and WTA Tour Partners- Development and implementation of rights activation, marketing and communication plans for Sponsors and Partners - Relationship management of key event Partners and stakeholders - Marketing, PR and Brand lead for the Aegon Championships, Aegon Classic and Aegon International alongside other LTA Partner tournaments such as the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals- Budget management - Management of agencies across multiple workstreams and channels- Development and implementation of marketing and CRM campaigns with the objective of increasing participation in tennis - Execution of marketing and fundraising activity for Rally Against Cancer; a charity tennis event held at the Aegon Championships in 2012- Development of marketing and sales hospitality strategy

- Client handling of over 20 varied clients from digital sports specialists Perform to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, Corus, Canterbury and the NBA- Event organisation such as press trips and launches (e.g. England 2018 World Cup Bid launch)- Project management of a series of marketing campaigns (e.g. Marks and Spencer and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes ‘Living the Dream’ campaign)- Compiling and writing client and new business proposals, press releases, status reports and coverage reports - Media and athlete / client representation, media training and interview liaison
