As Head of Events of the Royal Television Society (RTS), Britain’s leading forum for television and related media, I am responsible for the RTS Television Journalism Awards, RTS Craft & Design Awards and the judging processes for both of these, as well as conferences, lunches, dinners and receptions with numbers ranging from 40-900. I have also been responsible for a number of RTS Legends Lunches and an RTS Patron dinner at the House of Lords and an RTS Patron reception with the Society’s Patron HRH The Prince of Wales at Clarence House.Key responsibilities/skills:• Recruitment of staff for the events department• Sponsor liaison for events• Responsible for company branding (including promotional gifts, and branded display stands) researching items, negotiating cost and co-ordinating design and delivery• Venue liaison, budgets and reconciliation• Marketing of events, overall management of onsite logistics• Staff and delegate management
