Plastic pollution is one of the biggest challenges today and increasing every year. We founded the “Autonomous River Cleanup” (ARC) project in Autumn 2019 at ETH Zurich at the Robotic Systems Lab with the goal of using technology, robotics, and automation, to develop a solution that is able to autonomously collect and remove plastic waste, in the form of macro-plastics, from rivers worldwide. I am managing a team of 12 students.

Semester-long course on business plan development. I lead a team of five students working on a business plan to foster sustainable consumer choices (www.greenwards.ch).We did market research, expert interviews, drafted a business plan and I pitched the concept in front of experts and investors.

• Analysing measurement data, processing raw data, and applying machine learning methods to improve measurement data • Testing and verification of remote sensing technology for the wind industry (e.g. floating lidar, nacelle based lidar, ground baser lidar, scanning lidar)• Writing technical reports and being direct contact with costumers • Site-Acceptance-Test of floating lidar systems
