Taught 200 classes reaching over 3000 students in the Fashion Design and Marketing program. Responsible for developing and refining curriculum, in the ever changing fast paced industry, to enable students to succeed professionally fashion industry. Areas of concentration include retail and corporate sales, store operations, buying, merchandising, event planning & production, branding, trend forecasting, product development, product planning, manufacturing, E - commerce strategies and analytics, Career preparation and marketing in corporate and entrepreneurial settings.Accomplishments:● Created rubrics and assessments designed to measure student success.● Used industry knowledge and connections to establish clear links between classroom knowledge and real world business applications.● Planned and participated in student industry trips to New York and the MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas.● Coordinated student internships and employment in the Northwest and across the country.● Recognized by the Executive Community for outstanding service in support of America's Best Educated Creative Professional in 2009. ● Won 2011 THE EDGE AWARD for exceptional contributions in a field of expertise.● Taught and guided 100’s of students in all aspects of the apparel industry.
