I am Joan E. Diamond, a Hilton Head Island Real Estate Professional with Century 21 Diamond Realty. Our family has visited Hilton Head Island annually since 1973 and made the island our primary residence in 2006. My husband, Bob, and I have been real estate specialists on Hilton Head Island since 2009. We love it here and think it is a wonderful place to visit and a fantastic place to live. Before joining the Hilton Head Island real estate world, we were working in Ohio and busy raising our six children while being active community volunteers. I received a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a master’s in education from Kent State University. In the 1980’s I worked for Apple Computer as an education consultant and trained 100’s of teachers on the Apple computer. In addition, I have fourteen years experience as an elementary school teacher. Today, we have fourteen very smart grandchildren who love to visit us on Hilton Head Island.While becoming a Hilton Head real estate specialist, I earned The National Association of REALTORS® Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification. I am member of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors and in 2011 became one of the top producing selling agents in the Hilton Head area. I was the top producing associate for Weichert Realtors Coastal Properties, a company of approximately 90 eearned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation. Diamond Realty is a company our family created to service the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area. In 2017 we became CENTURY21 Diamond Realty and benefit from the market power of affiliating with the world's largest residential real estate sales organization.
