I am a startup enthusiast, working to empower entrepreneurs within the innovation space, and have specialized in the development (end to end)and execution of Acceleration programs, events, workshops and boot camps that uplift visionary, technology-driven companies across Africa, especially those impacting underserved communities. As a Programme Manager at iHUB, I manage the Spark accelerator in conjunction with Safaricom, Mpesa Africa, and Sumitomo Corporation.Through this, I have facilitated access to a wealth of expertise through an extensive network of advisors, mentors, and trainers. What excites me is that I foster an enabling environment for African-founded enterprises, empowering them to tackle critical continental challenges and thrive.Through my various roles I’ve supported and connected national innovation networks, promoted program tool development, and co-moderated workshops at major summits. I've successfully equipped Producer organizations with tools and industry-specific insights and supported multiple cohorts of entrepreneurs. My work extends to Korean startups seeking market access in Kenya, entrepreneurs in Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Somalia becoming investment-ready, and various hackathons.I identify as a creative who is committed to social impact and business advancement continually exploring innovative approaches to problem-solving.My portfolio includes a diverse range of programs, such as The ShelterTech Accelerator with Habitat for Humanity, The Food Africa Accelerator in Partnership with Ibiz Africa and GIZ, The Blue Economy Program, The Pangea Connect Investment Program, The Agri-Food Nigeria Accelerator in Partnership with Microsoft, and the National Innovation Networks program in partnership with Make-IT in Africa, Seedstars and Garage 48.
