She earned her B.S. in Economics from California State University, Northridge. She has been active in a number of philanthropic initiatives including The Shea Center for Therapeutic Riding, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, The Autry National Museum, Downtown Women's Center, Junior Achievement and the Los Angeles Food Bank. She currently resides in Orange County with her family.
