About Joann Reyes

My objective at Fort Worth HOPE Center is to fulfill the one of Jesus' last request before he was crucified (Matt. 25:31-40), to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the sick and those in prison and to open your home to those in need. This is important because it was the last sermon he preached before his death. He said that as we do we do this to others, we are doing this unto Him. This is my life purpose to love the Lord by touching the needs in others by feeding, clothing, and caring for people who are truly in need, and allowing the Lord to care for them and love them through the hearts and lives of all who serve at the Fort Worth HOPE Center.

    The Fort Worth HOPE Center is a 501c3 Organization whose mission is to "Fight Hunger and Feed HOPE" in the lives of very low-income families in the DFW Area. We "Fight Hunger" by distributing over $3 Million of food annually to families in need. Groceries for a week to individuals in need of food on Mondays and Fridays. We "Feed HOPE" through our School of HOPE where individuals earn certifications to gain meaningful employment. Certifications include OSHA Certifications on 4 different types of Forklifts, ServSafe Food Managers Certification, Advanced Cake Decorating, Advanced Garde Manger Specializing in fruit and vegetable Carvings, Food Service, Hosting and Hospitality for serving in restaurants for banquets and catering.We also have a Hope SMILE Center to help individuals regain their smile to be able to become employable by replacing teeth and restoring smiles.
