Teaching English at a Japanese middle school with over 700 students, with ages ranging from 12 years old to 15 years old. Active participation in all school activities including field trips, staff meetings, and club activities all conducted in Japanese. I enjoyed developing the student's confidence in their English language skills. I started an English club at the school where students could stop in for a chat or discuss class topics or exam preparations.

As an instructor, I worked closely with individuals and small groups. Mainly I instructed working adults in business English; occasionally, I worked closely with high school and university students to pass their International English Language Testing System (IELTS). I also earned my TESOL, TEFL, and CELTA certifications.

I supervised a team of sales representatives and worked with customers to streamline their experience at the company. I worked to provide top-notch customer service and respond to inquiries and complaints. I was in charge of inventory and ordering new stock, reconciling cash receipts, and advising staff on dealing with difficult situations. I needed to be knowledgeable of sales, marketing and administration. As well as maintaining good communication and active listening skills. I was versed in technical skills such as knowing how to use a point-of-sale system and time-accounting software.
