I have worked in Communications on a global level for over 25 years, where I have developed an expansive network. 8 years ago I founded JOANNA JEFFREYS a London based consultancy providing customised solutions in the beauty and wellness, fashion and lifestyle sectors. We collaborate with exciting and emerging brands, and those looking to elevate their brand, crafting loyal communities for growth, bridging the gap between agency and in house. Clients have included, amongst others, 111Skin and 111Cryo, Koibird, Neous, Dreem Distillery, Dr Levy, The Nejati Clinic, il Apothecary, Luxottica, Kurt Geiger and Camilla. Previously I was Associate PR Director at Starworks Group looking after clients including Jonathan Saunders, Peter Pilotto, Michael van der Ham and Nicholas Kirkwood, and before that I headed up the press office at Harvey Nichols, launching brands such as Rodarte, The Row, Zac Posen, Ole Henriksen, Strivectin and Escentric Molecule. I also organised VIP positioning press events for for key labels such as Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Edun, working to maximise press coverage which in turn attributed to sales. I oversaw Press campaigns for the launches of Harvey Nichols Beyond Beauty, and the Harvey Nichols Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, Dublin and Bristol stores, dealing with national and regional media enquiries and dealing with key regional press. Having built up strong relationships with top tier national and regional media, key decision makers in the world of retail as well as stylists, influencers and image makers I can pool resources from all corners of the industry, to both establish and elevate brand presence in the media, online and in store. My experience stretches much further than PR through to Marketing, Retail, Sponsorship and Brand Partnerships as well as writing press releases, organising press days and placing news stories for various projects.
