Senior Analyst, State Health Policy
Current• Assist in the management of project activities, including planning large convenings for the 66 jurisdictions receiving CDC’s Overdose Data to Action funds both virtually and in person as well as site visits, workforce development trainings, and quality improvement projects around state health agency processes.• Organizing, convening, and conducting technical assistance to build the capacity of state health agencies around emerging strategies on overdose prevention and surveillance programs, building collaboration between state and local health agencies, and implementation science and techniques. • Develop in-depth reports, state stories, issue briefs, newsletters, and articles for publication pertaining to mental health, overdose surveillance and prevention, and behavioral health. • Support the state health policy team and the social and behavioral health team in tasks associated with overdose-related policy development, assessment, analysis, and implementation.
