In my role I was part of the team that assessed, implemented and supported clients. This particularly involved the understanding of the HealthNumerics-RISC Risk Stratifcation and Population Health Management application and how the functionality of this application could provide benefits to the PCT by highlighting trends, issues and to support enhanced patient care. Main duties included:· Mapping processes for issue reporting and resolution, data protection and system access.· Maintaining and controlling the issue and enhancements logs.· Mapping the flow of information through the application from upload, validation, querying and front end reporting.· Training end users and administrators in the functionality and benefits of the application.· Investigating issues and supporting the testing and implementation of patches.· Leading weekly conference calls with the IT Support team (Toronto) and the operations team to discuss, prioiritse and plan issues and patch releases.

The role was part of a project team responsible for the procurement, configuration and roll out of a third party asset management solution. The project utilised PRINCE2 methodology and strict Q&C processes:· Creating a data dictionary detailing the structure and table relationships.· Creating SQL queries to update and extract information.· Amending lookup tables in the software and changing configurations to enable additional data to be captured.· Creating Design Specification to detail the functionality of the product.· Mapping the data flows of asset information through the various information systems and sources.· Analysing the source Human Resources information and mapping the required fields to the third party supplied application.· Investigating issues with the system and liaising with the third party suppliers to resolve problems.· Creating test scripts and performing testing on the tool and processes..Black box testing.

Providing user training to groups or an individual basis on a bespoke web based data entry application.Conducting full audit visits at NHS and Private hospitals, writing up an audit report and performing a follow up review to identify progress on agreed actions and resolve any further issues.Creating a consistent and structured visit proforma. This enabled a full analysis of the hospitals situation to be assessed. Potential barriers to compliance were identified and discussed. Examples of Best Practice were compiled and used to assist hospitals with specific issues.Creating and distributing an automated report for all regional coordinators based on an OLAP cube.Representing the NJR at national and regional events such as the British Orthopaedic Association annual meeting, British Hip Society annual meeting.Regularly meeting and discussing data report with senior orthopaedic surgeons to discuss the hospitals in the areas that they represent.

· Processing Commissioning Data Set data from hospital trusts and importing into an SQL Server 2000 database.· Analysing PCT and other data providers’ data capture systems and performing data quality checks.· Co-ordinating receiving, validating and aggregation of data to fulfil statutory returns. Communicating with all data providers (e.g. Trusts, Local Government, Specialist Trusts, Primary care) to ensure Local Delivery Plans were completed.· Analysing commissioning data to support performance management, KPI’s and SLA’s

· Co-ordinating the receiving, validation and aggregation of workforce data to support national programmes.· Communicating with various stakeholders regarding the purpose of data requests and the valid format for data.· Investigating and developing the structure of the Workforce Monitoring Database to enable efficient data transfer and to be able to provide meaningful and useful information concerning the local workforce.

Within a rapidly developing and changing department, which provided facilitation services for both private medical insurance members and external customers.
