Laid off due to company restructuring :Scheduled and coordinated wellness screenings all over the U.S. to include coresponding with H.R. representatives and creating documents for said groups. Supply inventory and coordinating with outside vendors for wellness screenings in various states. Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, letters and documents for over 30 groups/companies. Doctors Direct Health Care performs Wellness screenings and coaching for a multitude of companies all over the U.S. We have 30+ companies we service on site at the present. I have the role of Phlebotomy coordinator which includes the ordering of phlebotomy supplies, distribution and specimen pickups with LabCorp of America for our screening locations, supply ordering from all other vendors and help to co-ordinate the travel and lodging. On our screenings I can be a phlebotomist and/or a biometric screener, it depends on what is needed at that particular screening. We average anywhere from 60 to 200+ clients in a day when we are screening on location. After our screenings, in our local office, me and two other phlebotomists review results looking for possible alert values and assure the correct tests are performed and client information. I review all our company files to assure corrections are being made when needed and mailed out in a time frame that is designated by each company. I am the liason between our company and our outside vendors when it pertains to phlebotomy/lab issues. My expertise in phlebotomy and customer service have created a positive and safe environment for our clients. Our clients know my professionalism and trust my experience on the job. I have brought more organization to my department in which has alleviated pressures for my immediate supervisor. I have taken on some of her responsibilities that have given her less traveling and more office time. 28 years of all areas of phlebotomy to include training students. Difficult draws and making clients comfortable are my "specialty". All aspects of office organization, leadership, ordering and maintaining supplies.
