As a Teaching Assistant at DTU, I contribute to the Database System course, where I assist students with their assignments, projects, and exam. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for Backend Engineering and Distributed Systems, which are also my main focus areas in my MSc Computer Science and Engineering program. I have also gained valuable hands-on experience in Software Engineering through two internships at Critical Techworks and Critical Software, where I worked on various projects related to Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Railway and Medical Devices, Smart Technologies and Digital Services. I learned how to apply Agile methodologies, good engineering practices, and modern technologies such as GPT-3.5 and Git. Additionally, I have been working part-time as a Runner at LUSSO, a nightclub in Copenhagen, where I developed useful soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and customer service. I have a strong technical foundation from my BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Porto, and I also obtained a CAE Advanced certification in English. I am deeply curious about various fields of science and history, and I love sports such as football and basketball, having been a federated basketball player myself. My goal is to pursue a career in Software Engineering that challenges me, allows me to grow, and makes a positive impact on society.
