Project: Decarbonisation of an industrial washing process for the Remanufacturing division. Project objective: Reduction of annual energy consumption and decarbonisation of heat production (reduction of installed power from 1,400kW to 750kW).▪︎ State of the art: Industrial washing machines, gas boilers and steam network▪︎ Measurement campaigns: Thermal imaging camera, hot wire/propeller anemometer, ultrasound flowmeter▪︎ Suggested improvements following the study: change of energy vector (steam to hot water), improvement of the heat exchange system (tubular heat exchangers to plate heat exchangers), thermal insulation of machinery and fluid network. ▪︎ Management: Drawing up of specifications (civil engineering, hydraulics, electricity), planning management, risk analysis, selection of suppliers, worksite supervision, commissioning with handover of the project.
