PhD in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structures from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). The doctoral program was focused on the development of new methodologies for structural monitoring of wind farms, with emphasis on tower and blades. During this period, it was possible to improve skills in design and implementation of structural monitoring systems incorporating recent technological developments, development of data processing algorithms for automated processing of monitoring data (special focus on identification of modal properties and fatigue assessment) and testing, monitoring and modelling wind turbines.In addition, the entire academic and personal path made it possible to develop soft skills, including creativity, time management, problem-solving, ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented framework, strong technical analysis and troubleshooting capabilities and excellent written and oral communication skills.
