I am a student at Utah State University and work full time as a Medical Assistant in an Internal Medicine Department for Intermountain Health. Prior to becoming a Medical Assistant I worked as a CNA for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at LDS Hospital for almost four years. I have experience with taking vital signs, assisting with administering blood products, drawing blood, assisting with minor procedures, preparing and administering medication and injections. I communicate with patients in person and over the phone. I have experience documenting and charting patient information electronically and have experience managing faxes and referrals both electronically and with paper forms.
